The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) has elected Rob Tindle as its vice-president for the term starting June 2025.

Tindle, a member of the ICAEW Council since 2017, will serve in this role until June 2026.

Having joined the institute in 1988, he is a partner at Tindles, a firm he founded in 2000.

Tindles is known for providing comprehensive business advisory and compliance services, particularly to entrepreneurial clients.

The firm also shows a commitment to training its staff through the ACA programme.

In addition, Tindle currently chairs the board of governors at a local school and is dedicated to mentoring young talent within the accountancy sector.

Malcolm Bacchus is the current ICAEW president.

Derek Blair is currently serving as the deputy president, while Caroline Smale holds the position of vice-president.

Parry, with more than two decades of experience in developing technology strategies and driving digital transformation, will oversee the development of ICAEW’s technology and AI solutions.
