Jones said: “I am pleased to welcome Angie Storm to the EITF. Angie brings to the table extensive technical accounting experience and an important perspective that will enhance our discussions on EITF issues brought before the FASB.”

EITF is tasked with supporting the FASB in enhancing financial reporting by identifying and developing solutions for specific financial accounting issues within the FASB Accounting Standards Codification.

Storm succeeds Robert Malhotra, who has recently taken on a different role at KPMG.

Jones added: “As a previous EITF alumnus and charter member of our recently reconstituted EITF, Robert Malhotra played a key role in supporting its successful transition to new operating procedures and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our interpretative process.
