Recently, a financial literacy workshop was conducted for 30 selected MSMEs in Banyuwangi to provide business owners with essential skills and knowledge for preparing financial reports.
The participants were chosen based on their current level of financial understanding, allowing the workshop to focus on practical applications and more sophisticated financial practices.
The Directorate of Financial System Stability and Policy Synchronisation within the Ministry of Finance supported the initiative by outlining available financing options for MSMEs, while the Banyuwangi Regency Government played a role in facilitating the workshop.
This initiative builds on the earlier launch of CPA Australia’s toolkit, “Panduan Pengelolaan UMKM: Mewujudkan UMKM yang Berkembang dan Berdaya Saing,” which was introduced to support the national goal of improving practical financial knowledge among MSMEs.
