Gleim Exam Prep, a provider of accounting certification preparation, has partnered with Wiley, a publisher and education provider. 

Under the alliance, the companies plan to introduce the Gleim Kieso Course Companion, a tool aimed at supporting accounting educators and students, particularly those preparing for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam. 

In a statement, Gleim said this collaboration integrates its CPA review materials with Wiley’s “Intermediate Accounting” textbook by Kieso and the WileyPLUS platform, creating a resource that connects classroom learning with professional preparation.  

The tool aims to help professors reinforce key concepts and prepare students for their careers. 

Designed for accounting programmes, the Gleim Kieso Course Companion provides access to more than 460 CPA Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) multiple-choice questions aligned with Kieso’s learning objectives and more than 200 exam-style task-based simulations.  

It integrates with learning management systems, offering pre-built practice sets and a gradebook to support classroom instruction. 

For students, the Course Companion aims to offer clear explanations, CPA FAR practice questions, and exam simulations through pre-made assignments, fostering a deeper understanding of complex topics.

The Gleim Kieso Course Companion is now available for course adoption and works with classrooms using WileyPLUS for Kieso’s textbook, providing a practical tool for accounting education. 

Separately, Simandhar Education in India partnered with Becker to exclusively offer Becker’s CPA and CMA Exam Review courses in the region, responding to a 450% increase in licensed CPAs in India since 2020.
