Ten companies across 7 sectors have today become the first to make the commitment to implements the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations within 3 years by 2020.
The companies are Aviva plc, Royal DSM, Enagás, Ferrovial, Iberdrola, Marks & Spencer, Philips Lighting, Sopra Steria Group, Wipro Ltd and WPP. These companies will disclose the financial implications of climate related risks and opportunities in order to adapt their business to a changing climate and low carbon economy.
