Chris Hodge has been named executive director of strategy at the UK Financial Reporting Council (FRC), effective 1 January 2014.

Hodge has been at the FRC since 2004, and is currently director of corporate governance.

He replaces Mridul Hedge who had decided to leave the FRC.
