PCAOB to consider reorganisation of auditing standards
The US Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) is considering a proposal to reorganise its auditing standards.
The proposed reorganisation is intended to present the standards in a logical order that follows the flow of how one conducts an audit and therefore to help users navigate the standards more easily.
The PCAOB has scheduled an open meeting on 26 March 2013 in Washington to discuss the issuing of the proposal. The meeting will be available via podcast on the Board's website.
