News brief: ICAEW membership grows 15% in last 10 years

Across the last decade, ICAEW membership has grown by 19,000 (15%) to 147,538 and student numbers have increased by over 120% in the ten years.

Annual student intake had increased by 75%, with record student numbers for this year reaching 25,800. Operational income for 2016 was £100.0M, an increase of £3.1m from 2015.
