ICPAK’s acting CEO gets appointed for the full position
The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) has appointed Edwin Makori as the new CEO following approval from the Council, effective from 2 October 2017.
Makori has been the acting CEO since April 2017 and he will begin his three year tenure. Makori also serves in several boards including the International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB) as the technical advisor.
ICPAK chairman Julius Mwatu noted: “Makori’s accomplishment in the field of accountancy and his experience in innovation leadership will ensure that the Council continues to promote and assist ICPAK professionals both in Kenya and globally.”
