IAESB strategy for the next five years will focus on education

The International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB) has published its 2017-2021 strategy and 2017-2018 work plan, which is centred around developing accounting education standards.

Other areas of focus for the IAESB in the next five years will be to review the post-implementation of existing standards, and to engage and communicate better with stakeholders.

In the short term, the IAESB plan for this year is to advance existing projects on continuing professional development and professional scepticism, as well as start new work on information and communications technology, and public sector accounting.
