Hong Kong’s FRC appoints CEO

The Hong Kong Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has appointed Mark Dickens as its chief executive officer.

Dickens will succeed PM Kam, who has served as the chief executive of the FRC since April 2010.

"I am confident that the FRC will benefit from Dickens's vast experience as a financial regulator in Hong Kong and overseas. He has worked in the Securities and Futures Commission and the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited before. His leadership will help the FRC as it moves forward in an increasingly challenging era," FRC chairman John Poon said.
