HLB International elects AICPA council member as chairman

HLB International has elected David Stene, former HLB USA chairman and current member of the governing body of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), as chairman.

The appointement is effective from 1 January 2015, for a three-year period with a possible two years renewal.

Stene is also a partner at HLB USA member firm Eide Baily and the chair of the Minnesota society of CPAs.

He takes over Danish member firm HLB Beierholm partner Mogens Anderson, who has been serving as chairman of the international network since 2009.
